| Andis or Wahl? Which does everyone prefer? Or maybe there is another favorite?? Also . . . what about scissors? Curved , straight and/or both? I'm just starting out so I am trying to figure out what all I need to get. |

| I'm probably not the best person to give advice, but I do groom my schnoodle in between trips to the actual groomer. My boyfriend and I are partial to Andis but that's only because it's what we use to clip cattle.

| Is it better to go with corded or cordless with clippers? Does one brand of clipper get hotter than another? Sorry about all the questions , but , I am clueless when it comes to clippers and scissors. |

| Cordless would be nice so I didn't get tangled up in things but mine have a cord.

| I have an Andis.. LOVE it... i guess i'm not using it long enough for it to get hot plus i use a comb so she would never feel the actual clipper... and i use the Whal peanut for her pads and ears. and around her behind scissor i use straight with a blunt curved end |
