| My CoCo had a small area on her back shaved last year. It has taken a year for it to grow about 4inches. I think it may differ from dog to dog. I have also found that when they are cut really short is usually grows out much darker. How is Bleu doing ? Have you had any more news. Have been keeping up on your other threads. Hugs, Sheilagh.

| Punkin has short hair and when she had LP surgery in August it was about 6-8 weeks before we could trim her hair down and sorta blend everything together. Although her leg looked like a chicken quarter (we had a good laugh) we didn't worry about how she looked, just felt blessed that she was able to have the surgery and that it all went so well for her. We didn't even think about the hair, we had our girl healthy and happy. |

| I am so glad that Blue is doing well! I have been looking for updates.. Anyway, my groomer told me that yorkie hair grows as fast (or slow) as human hair- approximately one quarter inch per month.

| I would agree Saphire about it taking around a year for the coat to grow back to a glorious floor length. I am over-joyed to hear that Bleu is coming home. I hope he has a short painfree recovery. |
