| Frustrated-top knot hair Brea has fine hair on her head. We have been used bands almost every day to keep the hair out of her face. No matter how hard I try to cut the bands off gently - it seems her hair is thinning up there. Bows with clips won't stay in without having a band on first. I can't stand the hair in face - I can't see her eyes at all. Is there ANYTHING I can use to keep the hair back so she can see and so I can see her cute little face????? I don't want to keep using bands - at least till she gets more hair up there again. Help! |

| I also use the tiny scrunchies...as well as the little butterfly "claw" clips. Ive love the clips because Meka can be a tomboy at times, and will mess up her top knot in seconds... So, rather than re-tieing it, I just re-clip it and its so much quicker/easier

| Have you tried the hair bands that Des (Tiger's Mom) sells on her site? They are the only ones I use as they are very easy to get out as well (without cutting). She also sells the hair clips that many use rather than bands. Neither one of my girls' hair will keep them in without a band first, but these bands are hands down the best (and I've tried LOTS of others)!!!

| I buy the nylon bands in the baby section at Walmart. They work wonderfully! (they come in a pack of 300 in pastel colors and do not sttach themselves to the hair like rubber bands do.)

| The laytex is really stretchy, easy to put in, but also easy to get out. I don't know how to explain the difference except others I've tried are difficult to get in and then really difficult to get out and take lots of hair with them.

| GRRRR. I got the scrunchies from Wal Mart and they stay in about 2 minutes. I tried some other ones that I already had at home and they didn't stay in either. Wal Mart didn't have the bag of little bands as far as I could see. I'm ready to chop hair off. I don't want her hair to keep being pulled out but I want to see her cute little face. I would hate to cut her top knot hair off but I can't find anything that works. Like I said her hair on her head is baby fine, unlike her body hair. |

| I use the covered elastics like I use in my own hair but tiny. I found them at Target.

| Nope not really, and if they do at least they don't pull her hair out. I think I put her topknot in 3 times a day. She usually fights it the first time and rips it out in 5 minutes, but then she leaves it alone. Also, I put a clip over it and that seems to help. These aren't great pics of Sam but they are good pics of the band in her hair

She is sooo cute! Ok, so I just have to keep putting it, eh? The trouble is, the other dogs find them before me and try to eat them. | |
