| I only use gel for the ring, it hardens the hair and can break your top knot. At home I use a thicker conditioning creme such as kolesterol or carrot creme, when it needs to be "reworked" a few sprays of water brings it back to life. If you really need to use gel may I suggest Dippy-do sport paste used very sparingly, it doesn't get hard so you can rework it as well... don't forget to wash it out really good. Alana

I don't leave ponytails on them when I am not home - they take each others out & play with them - sometimes swallowing it. I just bought a product Saturday at Walmart IT WORKS WONDERS - It LASTED THE WHOLE DAY & IS Not Greasy at all! Murray's Superior Hair Dressing Pomade It is in a bright orange can in the Black People Hair section at Walmart. I just rubbed a little bit on their bangs, combed it, done!

| Gosh! The things I learn on this site. It never occurred to me to use gel. What a great idea.

| Hair spray works also. I don't actually spray Riley with it though. I spray it on my fingers and push his hair back out of his eyes. |
