Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I've seen a post on them - just the name 'happy apple' bugged me LOL - what the heck is a 'happy' apple ??? here ya go - I found the thread - the only thing I didnt like reading this older thread about them was that they womed puppies THREE times ? that sounds excessive and I think it's a possible problem in their kennel that they'd have to do that so many times - it cant be good for the puppies http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...y+apple+kennel |

| You can come with me then! But i will probably go with my husband too, if you don’t mind (he is very nice ) I live in Ballston Spa, I have talked to the guy on the phone, he said the price is $780, with first shot, papers and like people said before-3 dewormings, i don’t know what that is, i thought it was a pill that you give them, but why 3? Any way i want a girl, he said he has no female Yorkie, but has a Maltese. I am still contemplating between the two breeds. So i want to go see the Maltese but still am looking for a yorkie. He gave me the address and according to Mapquest they are an hour away from me, going south. So about 30 min, from Clifton Park. I won't be able to go this weekend, but am planning to go as soon as possible. So if you would like to come, email me to annie_tolo@hotmail.com, we can even pick you up if you want. That way i will get to see your yorkie too! |

| I talked to some very credible people today that informed me that Happy Apple Kennel is a mill. Apparently they are in the midst of being investigated. I wanted to let you know~ |

| I went there when I was looking for Zoe. I had a very bad feeling about them and they have more than one breed of dogs that they were selling. I was only in the first room of the house and could hear dogs barking but they were obviously locked up somewhere. I was not impressed with the quality of the dogs. Both parents were under 4 lbs and to top it off, I got stuck in the mud in their driveway. It was awful but we were able to laugh about it later. There was almost no guarantee and even though the price was attractive, I went elsewhere. Please feel free to pm me if you have any other questions. |

| I bought my Yorkie from the a few months ago. I can only say if it sounds to good to be true it probally is. I should have relized it than but I was anxcious to get my puppy. He drove the dog all the way to me in Eastern Long Island which was like a 7 hour drive and only charged me $50 to deliver it. Which should have sent me a red flag off the bat. But it didnt. My yorkie is wonderful and he so far is a teacup like promised but he was very sick 2 days after I got him and stayed sick for a good 2 months with antibiotics and cough meds and even injections. Visits to the vet every week cost me a fortune. I asked for shot records for weeks and he finally faxed me a copy and I told him to send the original which I had to call him 5 time to remind him to put it in the mail .When I got it, it was not the same as the one he faxed to me. He is very shady. I called him when my Jesse was sick and he told me to mail him medical bills and bills for medication and he would reimburse me...which never happened. I called and called and he never answered back. I recently checked his website to see what he was doing and it was no longer exisitng and that is how I found this website. He always seemed to have the same pictures of the same two puppies on there and he always said they were the ones for sale. When he arrived at my house with the puppy...it was not the one on the website that he claimed. I did take him anyway cause he was so sute and I didnt want him to have to go back to that weirdos house. My best of luck to you. |

| They have been on the news continously. It is supposedly a Puppy Mill with a lot of complaints being made against them regarding VERY sick puppies being sold. I think they are still being watched and are still under investigation. Check out this article: Local News: Puppy Mill Investigation | story, puppy, share : WRGB CBS 6 Albany

| This is all scarey to me!! I have been blessed with not health issues............ I bought my pups from PA farmers market. The owners are very nice and interact with the new owners of pups (as far as quesitons he is great and is a vet himself) and promises they do not come from puppy mills. My male was four months and took me three weeks to decide when I bought him and he was sick for a few days (no major issues and did alot a coughing) But now almost two years old seems to be fine. My Female I ran into no problems at all. In fact she just had pups and it makes me mad to see what the puppy mills are about. I think a dog coming from a private home that love them up, interact and want to make sure the pup goes to a loving family makes a difference. I am very picky who gets my puppies. Otherwise I will not sell them. Right now at 5 1/2 weeks old...my whole family is falling in love with them. If anyone is going to Yorkie day this weekend up in Reading PA...I will be there with them. My Yorkies are my best choices I made. Best wishes on finding the right yorking... |
