| Lake George or Lake Placid? I am planning on going to either Lake George or Lake Placid this weekend. I was wondering if anyone has been there with their dogs. If so what hotel did you stay at? Was it nice? What attractions and restaurants did you take your dog too? If you have been to both places which one did you prefer and why? |

| Lake George is just north of me and it's beautiful! I haven't stayed there though so I don't know of any pet friendly hotels. I hope you have a great weekend |

| lake placid Just went to Placid in August and we stayed and the Wilderness in in Wilmingotn on the base of Whiteface mountain. It was absolutely wonderful and our Yorkie had a great time. They have cute little cabins and were only $75 a night.Nice people and restaurant out front of the cabins which set on a beautiful piece of woods and very quiet. It was perfect with fireplace abd porch with adirondack chairs and new bathrooms/showers inside. We did alot of walking with our Yorkie to the trails in area and carried her in some of the shops. people loved her and didnt seem to mind.Have a great time.If youd like pics of the cabins you can email me at vicky.ranieri@verizon.net Thanks and the mountains are the best place to go
