| ![]() Hi, I am a Yorkie breeder. I do my best to raise healthy, happy puppies. I do have a kennel and I am inspected by the USDA and have always got a perfect report. I know lots of dog lovers think just because you raise puppies in a kennel you are a puppy mill. I am here to state that is not true. All my dogs are treated better and get more attention than lots of pets I see even in my area. I do everything I can to keep my puppies out of pet stores but then again not all pet stores are bad either. I have been reading the post on the puppy boutique in Brooklyn and it makes me sad. In fact, the reason I'm here is I had been in contact with them about buying puppies from me so I did a search on them and found alot of terrible stories from people who bought puppies from them. No way I will do business with them now. I can't believe people would buy a pure bred, registered puppy and leave with the puppy and not have the puppies registered papers. The store gets the papers with the puppy so there is no reason the new owner doesn't get the papers. If I were buying a puppy I wouldn't leave without its papers. The breeders name is on the registering paper so anyone can do a search on the net and usually find them even if the store won't give you the breeders number. I've had people call me that have purchaced my puppies at a pet store for background on the parents. I sell most of my puppies to individuals by running adds in newspapers and off my website. I have shipped puppies all over the US and if I can I get non-stop flights so it doesn't take more than 3 to 5 hours to reach its new owners. I hope I don't offend anyone by raising in a kennel which is climate controlled, auto feed and water, but there is no way hobby breeders can supply all the people that want a sweet yorkie to love. I want all to know my puppies are raised in a clean enviroment and I give all of them as much attention as time will allow. |

| ![]() This store should be put out of business. The one year guarantee they advertise is absurd. I traveled all the way to NYC to pick up a puppy that I thought would be the same one that Puppy Petite emailed me a picture of. It wasn't, however I purchased him anyway. Before traveling to NYC, the owner emailed me and told me the prices for their "teacup yorkies" were between $500-$1500; however, they were realistically between $1000-$2500. I purchased my baby for $1600...only for him to die 2 weeks later due to congenital problems. His condition was verified by three vets and it was determined that he had a congenital disorder. Puppy Boutique still refused to return my money or exchange my dog for one of equal value. I have no other choice but to pursue legal assistance now. They do not sell good, healthy puppies and they have poor customer service. They are rated unsatisfactory with the Better Business Bureau. Please help me pass the word so that noone else has to experience a loss of their puppy. |

| ![]() I'm so sorry you lost your puppy. How sad that must have been for you. I hope you do get your money back. They were once a reputable pet store, but not any longer. I know someone who did take them to court and won the case, and still never got the money. I hope you have better luck. Have you gotten another puppy? Please don't let this terrible experience keep you from the joy of owning a yorkie.

| ![]() How awful! I feel so bad for you, but maybe it's an omen to get your puppy somewhere else! I really do hope you get your money back. Good luck.

| ![]() I got my Sammy from Puppy Boutique in Brooklyn. I did not know any better about puppy mills at the time but I'm still glad we had our precious boy for almost 13 years. Sammy had LP and seizures starting at age one which we had under control for many years. I don't ever regret getting my little boy but now that I am informed about puppy mills (thank you YT) I would not buy in a pet store again. My neighbor, who has since moved away, got her Yorkie from Puppy Boutique too and I don't know if her dog had any health issues. |
