| Great breeder in the area?? Since we are all in the same area, can anyone tell me some good breeders that are around here. All I seem to find are puppy stores..which is where I got my first yorkie. Anyone know of anyone good that isn't half way across the country?? |

| I know there are some breeders listed on ytca.org, but I'm not sure about the exact location of those. But even if they're within 2-3 hour driving distance, I think it's worth the drive...

| Check out the YTCA breeder referral. There are a couple of excellent breeders in Connecticut that I personally used, as well as several in the NYC area. Here is the link - http://www.ytca.org/breeder3.html#NY

| I also got my yorkie from a breeder listed on the YTCA.org website... there are several in Northern NJ and on Long Island who I contacted and were very helpful. I ended up going with a breeder located right off of the GWB, about 30 mins away from the city. |

| I go to school in Albany but I am from the city. I am comming back to albany over the summer to get a yorkie. If you check timesunion.com there are plenty and most of them are very friendly. i think that is what i am going with because i want a pet dog.. i dont need a fancy show dog.. so its perfect for me |
