Have a great time in the Big Apple! Try to bring some treats and maybe a chew toy for the flight, along with a shirt or something in the carrier with your scent on it so he feels right at home. Let Sully potty right before going onto the plane if possible or bring a pee pad and take him to the lavatory if he needs to go during.

Although technically you're not supposed to hold him during the flight, I've been told that if the flight attendants aren't looking, or aren't overly mean, that you can get away with it and let him lay on you during the flight... (just cover him with a blanket or something) if someone walks by. We all know how well Mr. Sully is trained!

We're so excited!!!!! But I'm all nervous about flying with him.

It's a 2hr flight so not bad and he's rather used to his bag, but I just don't think he'll understand, ya know? Poor guy.

When I check Sully in at the baggage place, do they give me a ticket to put on his carrier that says he's allowed on the plane?

Have fun Val!!!!! NYC is my most favorite place in the whole world. You'll see lots of people with small dogs, it's great!

oh there was this really cute store that we passed yesterday. It's on park ave. I can't remember the name of it (I'll ask my mom tomorrow) but it has dog clothes and accessories and everything.

I would LOVEEEEE to meet you!!! I doubt we'll make it to Jersey but you should come and spend a day with us touring around in the City! There is also a NYC yorkie meetup on Sunday - you could come and bring Baby!
