| New Mommy in CH, NJ Hi everyone, I'm new to the site, I've been reading through posts for the past few days, and have decided to post myself. I've read all what you should have, and food/treat/training reccomendations but i do have a few specific questions as far as the where to find things in the area we live in. Well before I get ahead of myself... I'll be picking up my 12 week old baby girl on Saturday (soooo excited) and bringing her home to Cherry Hill, NJ were she will job My husband and I and our 2 girls. Right now we have not come to a final agreement on her name but right now the breeder is calling her Layla which is the same as our youngest daughter, except spelled differently. On to my questions: 1) Vet, I need to find an reasonably priced, quality vet in the area, can anyone recommend? 2) Pet supplies is there a one stop shop for the "cute" essentials? I know a lot of members have stores, but for my initial purchases I would like to go in and pick out the bed, bowls, crate/carrier, blankets, etc. I would like to spend under $100 initially. 3) Groomer, I don't think I'll need this asap, but I would like to start getting the info so I have a few reccommendations when we are ready. I also have some non specific to location that I will be posting shortly, so if you are filled with a wealth of knowledge, please keep an eye out for my post. Thanks, hopefully once we get her settled, we can set up dates with pups in the area. |

| As far as a Vet is concerned, I live down the shore. On the White Horse Pike on your way into AC or Brigantine is the Atlantic County Humane Society. I know what your thinking, "ghetto vet", but the Vet there is amazing. She used to raise yorkies and is wonderful. She knows so much and gave me such great advice. I was so nervous when I brought my baby home. I am so glad I went to her. |
