| ![]() Since babysitting for our fur-babies in boarding houses like, kennel facilities is not an option for most Yorkie parents, a YT member came up with the idea of swapping time babysitting each others babies. Who better than a YT member to watch our little ones? Anyone interested, please post and give ideas, suggestions, etc. I'm in PA but only minutes from central NJ on the west side. ![]() |

| ![]() I like the idea as well! No one I would trust my little furbabies with more then a YT'er. Maybe admin could start a sticky thread where we could post our location, number of dogs we are willing to take in at a time, any other restrictions, etc... then when someone needs a sitter they can check the thread and contact the person individually. |

Making it a sticky was what I thought we would need as well, but I don't know how to get that in the regional forum ![]() | |

| ![]() I really love this idea. We havent planned a vacation since we got our furbaby. Cant think of a single person I would feel comfortable leaving him with. We are the first in our families to be a pet owner, so out trusted family has no experience. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() How do we go about posting information, broken down into regions? That would be phenomenal. Sometimes when some of us travel it is not a problem taking our kids. It is only when we reach our destinations that maybe we need to have a fancy dinner with relatives or the golf game or something stupid that the kids can't go to and we need a sitter outside of our home region. Or we live landlocked and wouldn't mind taking our kids for part of our grand vacation but they can't go on the 4 day 3 night cruise part so we need someone at the port city only....that kind of stuff. So a regional posting could get it down to major cities...or maybe we need to group it by major cities. I live not far from St Louis and would be happy to do sitting for someone coming into the St Louis, Cape Girardeau, Paducah area that needs help or if necessary they could drop off on their way to Chicago and pick up on their way back...lots of ways to work it... Let's figure this out!! We're driving to Vegas (my homies) in June, and taking all the canines with us. It'll be fine, but sure would be nice to have a couple of days that we could go to a nice restaurant with our daughter or friends, without abandoning them to the hotel. It'll work out....

| ![]() I've been fretting too about our trip to San Diego in July. We have a family wedding to attend and my whole family is going with us. We will be at the Lawrence Welk Resort and unfortunately, it's not pet friendly. If there was a YT member in Iowa or even San Diego, I would very much consider making arrangements for a puppy sitter. I'm going to hate not being with Bella for an entire week!! But I would feel so much better if she were in safe hands.

| ![]() when ever you're in town and need a babysitter just let me know, I'd be happy to look after your fur-babies ![]() ![]() Don't be bashful and ask me for anything you need to make you feel at ease leaving your babies with me. Come see where they'll be staying, talk to my neighbors, I'll give you phone number and address of our vets so that you can talk to them and the nurses...whatever makes your decision easier to make ![]()
