| Breeder suggestions near NYC? Hi, I'm looking to purchase a female Yorkie in about a month--around March 10th ideally since I will have some time off around then to be home all day with her. I live in Manhattan and am just hoping to get some good suggestions for breeders in the area so we can go check out the puppies before we make a commitment. Thanks for any help! |

| Be Careful & Educate Yourself! Many people claim to be breeders but they are middle men getting dogs from puppy mills! Home breeders have the bitch (mother) & most of time the sire (father) . Ask to see papers to see where the litter was whelped (born). Don't make the mistake of a puppy mill dog!!! I live in NJ about 10 miles outside of NYC. I just got my little darling girl Kiki from a Yorkie rescue. Go on line to their website rescuemeyorkie.com They do wonderful work. They are based in the PA area but handle the tri-state area. They have all sizes, ages & both genders. Save a Yorkie and rescue one. |
