YT NY Meetup Date and Info

We'll be driving in from Central Jersey. Its a little over an hour drive for us. Neither of us has been in that part of Manhattan before. Hopefully we won't get lost! (we have directions). I REALLY hope we can find a spot to park...or else we're in big trouble haha.

Is there a specific entrance to the park or anything? Or how do you get to the dog park once you're in the park?

Same here, I rarely venture into Brooklyn and especially not by car.

The entrance to the park is on 86th street and East End. If you are on 86th st walking keep walking all the way to the end and you ll see the entrance right there. Once you enter the park just keep on walking straight to the boardwalk. Once you are on the boardwalk make a right and its right there, you cant miss it.

Megan on your direction what does it say to take? What directions it gives you? Does it say to take tunnel?

Is it a lot of walking? My Mom uses a cane and I'm trying to decide if maybe she should bring a scooter.

If you are in the park its really a little walking just to boardwalk. There are some steps to the boardwalk. Its just depends on how far you park your car. Its usually either you are lucky with parking and park close or you have to drive for a little while to find a spot.

Hm I wonder what directions you have.
Oh boy I really dont know about the bathrooms by the dog run I wasnt looking for one at the time. I am assuming there are bathrooms there

Megan i asked my dad what would be a good way to go in and he said take the lincoln tunnel in. then take 10th ave to 86th street. then make a right and take 86 all the way down to the end. seems simple enough but we all know it won't be like that once we get in the city. LOL
