Aww that is so sweet

You can travel with dogs on train as long as they stay in their carrier, this is what I have heard. I will be going to that park very soon so I will check it out when it comes to parking

i use to live in the city and took cody every where on the bus and train, as long as he is enclosed in something. my husband use to just put him in a messenger bag...

Sounds like a plan. How are we going to figure out a location? There are alot of great parks. I'm upstate New York, but if I can figure out my Navigation system I'm there!!!

I'm excited! When everything is all planned out can someone please tell me the date, cause I just started a new job, and i would have to tell them ahead of time that i def. cannot work on that day, so please let me know ahead of time cause i reeeeeeally wanna go! And the doggies too of course

yup as long as they're in a carrier, they can pretty much go anywhere, train, bus, cab, etc. I have taken them in cabs w/o a carrier as well, some stop, some don't.

Any idea how many of us will be there...I just recently broke my arm so if it is in June (the later in the month the better) I will be anle to attend....but I am thinking of bringing only one of the furkids...under the circumstances it will be easier to keep an eye on one rather than two. This is not to easy for me to do but just might have to do it

When there is a set date/location a new thread should be started so no one misses it. I'm hoping to plan a weekend out of this with the meetup and visiting friends.

Hey guys! I am going this thursday to Carl Schurz park to check it out, hopefully the weather will be good. I will post about it as soon as I will come home from that park. With the dates is June 8th good for everyone and June 22 for rainy day? I just want to make sure so I can post a new thread with final info. I wanted to do that after I will visit the park.

I will take pictues too!
