Donating YT 30K Club Member | I think they just passed a law that dogs are allowed at any outside resturaunts. Navy Pier is dog friendly and fun! You can walk them along the pier on Lake Michigan. I know there are a lot of dog parks but not sure where.

| Most of the hotels in downtown Chicago are pricey but dog friendly and a lot of the downtown cafes and restaurants with outside tables are dog friendly. If you are close to the pier or can get down there, it's a good place to walk your dog and take photos of the lake etc. A lot of shops down there will let you come in with your pups as long as your dog is in a carrier. Have a safe trip. BTW-There's a Pet place that was suppose to open on 55th that has a brand new pet hotel that someone was telling me about. It has a Petco attached to it. I'll ask around.

| I know the Red Roof Inn (one of the more affordable downtown hotels) just off Michigan (can't remember the street, but let me know if you want me to find it) is pet-friendly. Also, if you're hanging around downtown, go to Tails in the City pet boutique. It's where my daughter bought Coby's polo shirt in his avatar pic. It is a really fun store.

| I'm originally from Chicago, just moved to VA. There are a lot of people walking around with their dogs. I have never seen people turned away in the outside seating section if you bring your dog along. On the north side of the city, where I lived with my husband for several years, most people have dogs so most restaurants put out water bowls for the dogs.
