Donating YT 2000 Club Member | Vacation Kennels in Myrtle beach I was looking for a place I could drop Jazzy at night then pick him up every evening for walks on the beach. I would like to keep him with me all the time but I can't seem to find any nice resorts that will allow that. Most of the time we stay at Sea Watch on the North side. Any help you can give me would be great. Thanks!

| How about a house? Have you checked into renting out a house? I know that in the Orlando area, ther are houses that you can get ( some with pools) that are within reason AND you can have your furkid with you! Maybe you can do the same at Myrtle Beach. I believe that Marcella has done something similar to this. It may be worth checking into.

| You may want to check out the following site http://www.vrbo.com/ You can do a search of Myrtle Beach and they have some pet friendly houses/condos listed. You may also want to check out Lands End condos, they noted some of their units are pet friendly. We are going down next month and it hasn't been easy finding pet friendly accomodations. Dogs are not allowed on the beach from 21st Ave N to 13th Ave S period. You can have them on the beach before 9 or after 5 but just not in the above area. |

| I'm going to Nantucket in June for my wedding and we did book a dog friendly hotel, but upon looking further for a better situation (i.e... not cooped up in one room w/4 pups, lol) we found a rental home w/a fenced in backyard for the same rate as the hotel so we cancelled our reservations and are doing that instead . It might be something worth looking into! |

| Can't help you with Mertle Beach...........but we just booked a hotel in Pensacola, Florida at a Marriott that allows pets. We are taking our two with us when we go. It was $100 nonrefundable pet deposit for the whole three days but well worth it to have my furbutts with me! You may try a Marriott search in that area and see if they have some on the beach that are "pet friendly." Also, many bed and breakfast places allow small pets. Just a suggestion.

| When my daughter got married a couple of years ago in Myrtle Beach we stayed at the "Wachesaw" Golf resort. It was a bunch of duplexes that people rented out. Ours was toward the back near the inlet and small pond. It was gorgeous and lots of people had doggies. I think most of the rentals do allow them! Our duplex had small back yard area and there were miles of walking trails-with those gorgeous spanish moss draped trees! It was decorarted beautifully and we loved having a LOT of room-two bedrooms, two baths, a small kitchen, dining area and a nice screened in back porch. It was NOT real close to the beach-maybe 4 miles but I prefered the quiet of the area to the partying on the beaches. Other family that stayed right on the beach were sorry-the dancing and partying gets loud! We still managed to get to the beaches just fine (Huntington is nice) and most shopping was close enough as well. If you want me to try to find out more info on exactly where we stayed I can try to find it-but I just booked through thier website. |

| There are some pet friendly hotels in the Grand Strand. Also, lots of house rentals that allow pets. I would be happy to see what I can find out - I moved back to PA last year after living in N. Myrtle Beach for 7 years so I know the area. Just PM me if you need any help or have any questions. We were down there last week for my dtr's graduation and took Roxy and Remy. We stayed with the people she is living with and the pups loved it.

| We are going to Pigeon Forge then Virginia Beach in about a week and taking all 3 dogs. We are staying at a pet friendlt cabin and ata a Sheraton in Virginia Beach, they don't have a pet fee either. I am not sure if Myrtle has any Sheratons, but if they do I think all are pet friendly and very nice. LaQuinta,Amerisuites and sometimes Marriott are pet friendly too. Finding a home rental may be too late, they book up quickly, but that would be your best bet if you can find any available. Good Luck!
