| Carseat out of a Canvas basket,it can be done! Since getting a new furbaby and taking him to the vet twice,I started searching for a carseat that could fit at least two dogs.I only found two that I liked . The first one was over $100 and the other was ok but all hard plastic from PetSmart for $60. I headed to Walmart (My second home) and looked for things like a crate or basket that I could turn into a carseat. I wanted to cover it,add seat belt strap holders and also a Coupler which is two leash hooks that can be used. I measured my car seat and I knew it had to be at least 16-17 inches high and 15 inches wide. I found a canvas basket at Walmart for $8.88! Perfect for this! Got some quilted fabric and two paw print appliques. Made a super thick pillow with my favorite "minky fabric" I put Cookie's harness on and he was just sitting there so cute! Now I can put Angel safely there when I take him to the Vet. Last time I took him , I almost got off the road because he squirms so much on my lap! The carseat I made straps all the way around and it won't move an inch. Total cost about $25 and 2 hrs of figuring out how to make it lol My daughter saw it and turned around rolling her eyes! lol She said " What's next?! lol This was on my list of must haves. Now Now our furbabies can look out the windows on car rides and I don't have to worry!
