| The official Yorkie standard calls for them to be the same measurement from neck to tail as they are from shoulder to floor. |

| Skinny legs and all My little guy is called "Super Model" at his play group because he's got the longest legs of all the yorkie or partial yorkies there! He's also super scrawny looking so I'm constantly trying to fatten him up. |

| Piper has long legs but she is just as tall as she is long. She is 15 months old now and has filled out some and her legs don't seem that long any more. I have to admit that she moves beautifully with those long legs. She really knows how to strut her stuff.

| Hi,,,Minbd you with long legs they do manage to get up onto things..i.e. chairs etc. quite easily..and can be frightening..when they climb further up and then thin k they can fly lol!!!! My last Yorkie which I lost in March was small with short legs..and couldn't jump up too far...so I didn't have to watch him as much... They can be little terrors at times can't they....I reckon my Dustie thinks he is a Bird...My hubby reckons he is crossed witha Giraffe..(tall legs) An Eagle (thinks he can fly) and a Lion (When he tries to bite)... But hey I love him though.!! x Chrisann x

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | long legs Hi, Thank you everyone for your responses. Very interesting on the length from the neck to tail and shoulder to floor. My little boy seems to be right on. I am new on the sight and just learning how to navigate but it is great to hear from everyone! Jersey Boy's proud Mom |
