| Appropriate American Airlines dog carrier? Hello! I am flying American Airlines on Monday and I'm having trouble finding a dog carrier with a height of 9" or less. Has anyone flown American and had problems with a carrier an inch or so bigger in height than specified? Any tips on a good AA-approved carrier? Thanks! |

| Have you tried Googling for an airline approved dog carrier. Here is one that was designed by a lady who lives just across town from me: Bone Bags and Accessories Online |

| Thanks! I don't think I'll have time to order one online so I've been going to stores in the area to find a carrier. The one I have now is a Bergan comfort carrier. The height is 11.5 inches, though it can easily be squished down if need be. I don't want any problems at the airport with the bag size though. That would suck lol. |

| sometimes they will let you take a larger soft carrier if it squishes down.
