| Carriers with one vent on airlines. I'm still thinking about taking Riley with me when I visit my family. Anyway, I read the airline requirements about the carriers and I was wondering if you absolutely had to have two vents? It says the carrier has to have two or more, but do they really check? I like the Louis Vuitton carrier, but it only has one vent. |

| I flew with my little guy last month from Oakland, CA to Portland, OR. Nobody even looked at his carrier! They did ask for his health certificate and of course his fee for flying...$70. The flight attendant on our way home didn't even notice that I had a dog, until I was getting off the flight. I want a LV dog carrrier. I love them because they do not look like a pet carrier. If I had one, I would been using it to fly and everything else. |

| I like the LV carrier, but it has one vent one entire thing. I wish it had one on each side or something besides that small mesh one. |

| You can use the LV carrier for your dog on the plane. I've used mine several times! Donna Bird Brooklynn's Yorkshire Terriers |

| I've flown on AA and Airtran and never had a problem with my LV and my show dog so I don't see any problems either with you traveling with yours |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | Is the vent on the side so under the seat the air gets to the dog? One vent will work if it doesn't get hidden or trapped under the seat. Now, to find the LV bag.... |

| I flew Northwest with Wenny and no one looked at my bag (or asked for her health certificate). No one even knew I had a puppy! I have the Kwigy-bo Alyson bag. As long as it can fit under the seat and there is ventilation (as others have said), you should be fine. Ashley
