I just don't get it!!!

I just opened the program and found there is an update 3.1; so you might want to download the newer version; it looks basically the same. Photoscape : Free Photo Editing Software Download

I did want to mention to those who are interested you can also create those cute animated gifs., that people post on the profile page. Just take photo you like and you can add lettering, sparkles, and other special effects. To create sparkles for example, go to the "Editor" part of the program. Go to "Object" than point to the little mountain scene and select "Effect" you can there choose from several different sparkles. Add these to the picture and save. Then go to AniGif part of the program and choose both the original and sparkle picture, set the frame time for 10, and choose a size. Here's a sample of one I created with the program. It's not very intricate, but this was my first attempt.

Don't know what I'm doing wrong. Saved all my pictures as gif first. In the web preview it showed the animation, but when I changed my avatar in the CP, the pictures wouldn't animate. What did I do wrong?

I would guess that your file size is too large. Non contributing members avatars are smaller than contributing members. A one time donation of $25.00 or more allows you to upload a file size that is 125 by 125 pixels or 53.7 KB (whichever is smaller). For non contributing members you have to look at your limits. It will tell you if you go to your user CP and go to "Edit Avatar."
Notice your avatar on this thread is smaller than some. It probably has to be that size, but can have several pictures.

You could also upload it on his thread, and I could take a look at it for you.

MAN, I am so hooked on this. I downloaded and am currently having a blast playing with our beach photos, I am gonna have a great showing.

Wow!!! I haven't been back to this post since I created my avatar. It never occurred to me that by posting this question so many other YTer's would get help and advice too! I'm so glad that other's have been able to create their own avatar's too and am very grateful to everyone who helped with suggestion's!
