| Missin' Molly and regrets... We're finally strong enough after losing 15-1/2 year old Molly on September 30 to feel ready to open our hearts to Finn and Monty, babies we'll pick up February 4. Have been focusing on the excitement and preparations all expectant parents enjoy. Adding new puppy pics to our YT albums made me decide to revisit old photos of dear Molly - found a few and added them to our RIP album, but found the pain is still too raw and I had to quit - hard to look at them thru the tears. It did make me realize, though, that there aren't near enough photos of Molly over the few years she was central to our life, and admittedly, our marriage - we married in 2000, and she came into our life less than a year later. I blame some of why we don't have photos for most of Molly's time here with us to the fact that it was 2012 before we finally gave in and bought cell phones. [I think we may be a couple of the last holdouts LOL.] It wasn't until then that we could snap and save pics instantly with our phones and Google Drive instead of having to search out the old 30mm camera and film and batteries. Still, I so very much regret not taking many pictures of our baby as she grew to a whoppin' 5 lbs - unbelievably I found none at all of her as a puppy. Makes me want to share with y'all that we can't miss any opportunity to capture as many sweet moments as possible, which these little angels give to us. There go the tears again, so I'll close with this: Keep taking pics - even if you find you have 1,000 pics of just that little pink tongue sticking out as she sleeps!

| I feel your pain and sadness over the loss of sweet Molly. I had to free my 17 yo girl of her pain and suffering 3 years ago and still cry when ever I think of her which is everyday. My vet gifted me with a 2 1/2 little surrender boy 6 weeks after putting my girl down, I didn't plan on ever getting another dog, I have lost to many and the pain does not get easier. My Cody did help ease the pain, I was in a very dark place, my house was so empty. Cody made my house a home again and bought sunshine back into my life. He rescued me and I am indebted to him for that, so very day that we have been a team I try to make that day a special day for him. You will always remember Molly and will cry for her, but the pain does ease up.You will be VERY busy with two babies lol, they will fill that hole in your heart, and give you much laughter. I once had a pack of 3, and not a day went by that they did not have me laughing. (((hugs)))

| Thank you, Matese for your kind words, and I really appreciate your taking the time to share your own experience. I know you understand exactly how I feel. I was having an exceptionally bad "one of my moments," they come out of nowhere! I'm depending on these two new babies to keep me busy, that's the best thing for it, I think! {{{hugs back}}}

| lol, oh these two babies will keep you busy that's for sure. Some years back I accompanied my cousin on one of her shopping sprees, she HAD to stop at a pet shop JUST to look at the puppies, well there was a 8 week old mini Schnauzer all groomed and looking as sweet as could be, there was also a 8 week old Toy white Poodle looking so sad. I am soooo weak when it comes to puppies, at this time I no dog, I had put down my 14 yo poodle 2 years earlier and swore no more dogs, I had bonded to close to that poodle, loosing her was devastating. But looking at these innocent lil babies my heart just melted, I couldn't make up my mind which one I wanted so, I bought both of them lol. I worked full time and had two puppies lol. I know what it's like having two babies lol, you WILL be busy, but also having much fun with them. They WILL help you heal.

| Omigosh, Joan, that's sooooo like what happened to me! My husband is the one who (finally) admitted we needed to fill the huge hole Molly left in our lives when she passed at almost 16. I still can't bear to go in pet shops - I'm afraid I'd leave with all of them, and I'd likely be bawling all the way! So Tom started his research. It is appalling the number of scammers who take advantage of people like us, but Tom refused to give up. When he found the listing, it said two males would be available on Feb 4th. Then I found out they were the only two - they were the entire litter, so we were talkin brothers - and I got it in my (mushy) head that they shouldn't be separated, LOL. And here we are now haha. I know it's gonna be a lot of work, but I need these little guys, and they will need or want for nothing. We own a small business, have a small print shop with four employees. Last May I started working from home (hooray for the Internet and staying "connected" whether you want to be or not, LOL), so I will be here to take care of them 24/7 - perfect for me! We pick them up in 3 days!!! I'm beside myself haha! Barbara

| 3 days wow, you better rest up now ,lol. That's wonderful that you bought both brothers. They are already bonded. A lot of work yes, but so rewarding. How wonderful for you and the babies that you will be home with them. You must take lots of pictures and post them here on YT, I am sooo excited for you. (((hugs)))

| I am so so sorry for your loss. Exactly the reason why I haven't been on YT in a long time. It really pains me when I hear of others losses. Keeps me up at night. But...Makes me happy to know that you and hubby have opened your hearts and home to 2 pups! Congrats and yes plan on being very busy! I have several children (doggies) but only 2 of them are Yorkies. Hannah Nicole is my 4 yr. old who is the boss of the house. Then I have Dominique Faith who just turned a yr. old on Jan 13th. Hannah matured very fast but Dominique is still very much a puppy! She gets into everything and has to be supervised especially when not in her x-pen. She's the sweetest most loving and fun little girl but what a mess she is. Get ready for lots of fun!! I'm so happy for you!!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Your post is so salient / poignant to me right now, at this time -- bc me and hubby have been saying often lately how we absolutely must be sure to get more pics of our 12 yr old, Wylie, as he is really aging and we want to cherish every moment we have with our little love. He is so precious and I want some really special pics before it's ever too late.
