Sometimes I don't know where the days go. I hope that you recovery is coming along nicely and that you are not going to stir crazy!


Dara did very well at the market. She behaved herself all the way through the 8 30 am crowds.


Our weather has turned hot and humid at least these past few days. Quiet times here at home - just doing stuff around the home.


Vet vine did a very good podcast on ageing and arthritis and talked about the newer approaches and how to set your dog up correctly to minimize the effects of ageing for canines. When you get back home Just drop me a message and I will find the link for you.

My heart breaks knowing how much you've gone through and how desperately you want to get home and back to Tibbe. I miss seeing you here. You sound so tired, but knowing you are getting stronger each day is so uplifting to know. It sounds like the facility you are at is wonderful and, while they work you so hard, you will be much more able to regain greater strength when you are living independently. I pray the doctor tomorrow is able to help your back pain and that you continue to gain a little weight. I will be happy to hear when you are able to have some delicious mashed potatoes and enjoy all of the foods you love. I'm sure you are missed on your food thread. Please take care of yourself and know that every day I pray for you to get well.

We are anxious to hear also. Tibbe is having fun with his new friends but he misses his mommy. We hope she's doing well. Tibbe says another thank you to everyone still sendin thoughts and prayers. We hope he can see his Mommy soon, I know she must miss this adorable face

I tried to call Jeanie once, but guess the rehab is keeping her busy. Just think about her all the time and want the best !

It's sometimes difficult to reach Jeanie because of PT, OT, and all of the medical staff coming in. I was unable to reach her last night, but I spoke with Jeanie Tuesday night. She told me they were taking her to a doctor yesterday for an injection for her back. She is unable to take anti-inflammatories, so hopefully this will relieve some of her back pain. She didn't know when they were going to release her, but she definitely is anxious to be home for Tibbe. Jeanie knows he is being well taken care of and is very grateful for all that Veronica has done, but it's been a long time to be away from him.

Thanks for the update Lisa. And thanks to Chibiluv Veronica for taking such very good care of Tibbe. He has found a safe haven due to the generosity and care of YT members.


I do know my breeder would take Razzle in a flash if I found myself in that situation and Magics' breeder ditto - Daras' breeder being in Latvia well - not so much - but my circle of friends here in the BRT world would find her a safe haven - while I recouperated.

Just talked to Jeanie, she said she's bein released tomorrow! Hooray! She sounds like she feels much better, still working on some pain but seems like there is a light at the end of the tunnel. So far we are thinking about a reunion with her baby on Thursday. She is very anxious to get to her own home and to see her baby again.

Oh wow what wonderfull news indeed! So a week today Jeanie will be re united with Tibbe!


Does Jeanie have some home care coming in ? Maybe a dog walker too in place?
