Very good news! I think the first few days are the most difficult, I hear you about the pain med button...LOL. I hope she does punch the button when she needs it. It sounds like she knows that too much can mask realizing a real problem exists and is taking the challenge of recovery into her own facilities. I like that, too. For me, the faster I gain control, the faster I am back on my feet. I do hope she has a speedy, pain free recovery. Tibbe will be so happy she's hugging him again. Thank you for the update. You're very sweet to share the info! |

I wanted to check in on precious Jeanie and her little man Tibbe.....thrilled things seem to be going so well! Continuing to "hit my floor on my knees for her" and her precious little man.....thank you for caring for Tibbe while Jeanie recovers....we all know peace of mind when our babies are being well cared for......she can totally concentrate on getting over this "glitch" in her life fabric.....God is close and watching over you Jeanie..... |
I have been calling and speaking to Jeanie every day. I just don't want her to get lonely. Yesterday she mentioned they talked about her going into rehab for a short while until they were sure she could take care of herself. I figured it wouldn't be long, since she was no longer on infused medication pain wise, but she was still on IV for potassium and other things. Sometimes I needed to call a few times until I was able to reach her. When I called a little while ago, they told me she was discharged. I don't have the name of where she is. I told Jeanie Sunday night that she could text me if she was lonely and that I would call her. Hopefully someone will show her how to do that if she remembered to take my number. I call her home number, and I didn't think to take Jeanie's cell phone number. I hate not being able to get in touch with Jeanie. If I don't hear anything for a little while, I will ask Veronica for her sister's or her son's phone number, but at this point I don't want to bother anyone. |
Jeanie Thank you so much dear Lisa for calling Jeanie every day and keeping in touch with her. I am sure she so much appreciated the caring. :) I am sorry she has had so much pain and most probably discomfort, but hope she is tolerating the oral pain meds she is now taking. Great news that she has been discharged from the hospital and will now be well taken care of in a rehab facility until she is strong enough to go home and manage her own care. Even then I feel she should have some home helper for a few hours a day to ease her into the daily essentials of life. Hope that you are soon able to locate her current 'home' and that she will again be able to talk with you. I pray that our beloved friend Jeanie will continue her recovery and that she will heal as quickly as possible. When she is ready I hope she will update us as to her status and what the actual surgery entailed. I gather it was partially an exploratory surgery and she did not know what exactly the surgeon was going to do or find until he went in there. Hoping that the surgery was minimal and that she will be cured after this is all over. Poor Jeanie, she needs a break and some time with good health. Please again give her my warmest wishes and love. Thinking of her always and praying hard that she is back here with us soon. Hugs, Dot xxxxxx |
Thanks so much for keeping us updated. I check daily for them. I sure hope she does text you.. I am keeping her and Tibbie in my prayers |

I am so glad you are doing better sweet lady...hugs |
jeanie Sending prayers for our sweet friend jeanie. Hope you can find her. Some rehabs let patients visit with their dog. It's healing to see them. Perhaps Tibbe could be brought in for a visit. I sure miss Jeanie and ask the Lord for a healing touch for her. |
Thank you Lisa for staying in contact with Jeanie. I am glad she is discharged as now she is now onto rehabbing. I hope you will be able to find out where she is and get back in touch with her. Praying for and thinking of you Jeanie. Hugs, Dyan |
