That verse that says I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me has helped me so much. You will get strength to face whatever trials come your way. You listened to your heart and allowed some rest before mammo. Good move. Love surrounds you. It is hard to understand deep love you love Tibbe so much. JESUS LOVES YOU MORE THAN THAT. You are so special to Him and all of us. So rest your days are blessed. So are Tibbes.

Hopefully, I'll grow some courage and gain some perspective on things in the next couple of weeks and can face that next mammogram in two weeks!

I spoke with Jeanie Monday night. The stomach issues will take some months to heal, but she is getting stronger. She had some awful headaches that wound her on the ER over the weekend, and it's not easy for her to use her laptop on the couch, the way she normally does. I know she will come on and spend some time when she is able to do so without causing more pain. She so appreciates your prayers and good wishes.

Jeanie, I'm praying all of your headaches and pain subsides. You are such an amazing person, special mom to Tibbe, and dear friend who fills the world with kindness and warmth.

Hi Lisa.
Thank you so much for the update on our sweet Jeanie. I was concerned as she had not been here for some time. I am so sorry that she had the terrible headaches as well as everything else to endure. Jeanie must wonder when she will feel good again. That surgery sure took the wind out of her and it must be so hard to stay strong with the post op pain and discomfort. But she will do what it takes to get over this and we pray healing comes soon.

Veronica, you are a dearheart, helped Tibbe and me more than I could ever explain during colon surgery and rehab, but hate to dump my continuing medical problems on the forum - it's so embarrassing, frustrating, negative. Not my scene - haha! Love being upbeat and positive and right now lots of things just aren't. Really scared for some reason about mammogram on Monday!!! Ugy - I've become skittish, fearful. What's THAT about?

Just hate to be the bearer or doom and gloom but both hips and neck are all really giving me fits lately! Had to go to ER last Sat. pm due to 2 day long severe headache and neck pain, vomiting and by the time I got back, all the walking, getting into wheelchairs, onto ER tables, CT tables, etc., really did my left hip in. Imagine it's bone on bone by now as in April it almost was. My femoral head problems are said to likely be from too many falls from horses over my younger years when riding was second nature and no hose too wild for me.

Can't really bear weight on left hip at all and with right hip hurting from painful right hip implant, which apparently bone hasn't properly grown into for adequate support, walking is out except for the absolute necessities. It's a bad time and lifting this heavy old laptop to type on YT doesn't help my neck at all - really hurts it and my tender abdomen. Going to look into getting a Kindle Fire or other tablet that is inexpensive so can continue on YT without the heavy lifting!!! Hopefully, Autumn will be kinder around here. Thankfully, I have Tibbe for now and he's everything - such a positive little force every day and he's so happy just to live our life as unexciting as his is right now. He's one of a kind and so very, very dear to my heart. ♥
