Thank you again for your prayers and good wishes. It is too soon to tell if the treatments are helping but he is going through the rough stuff now. I really appreciate my YT family being there.

Jean, I am continuing to pray for good news for Jerry, for the treatments to help him, and for him to be well enough to visit his country house with his dogs.

Thank you so much for your continuing prayers and good thoughts. They are saying that it is too soon to tell if the treatments are helping, so I don't really have much to update. I am hearing that most days he is feeling good, with a day of sickness after chemo. He is spending all of the time that he can in the country when he is up to it, so I haven't been seeing him regularly. He wants the peace and quiet and the beauty of nature surrounding him as much as possible and I love that he has a place to go that gives him so much peace and happiness. Your prayers and concern mean more to me than I can say. Love, Jean

Heartening, encouraging news to hear that he's now got some good days and has a peaceful place to find some restoration away from city life. Does your brother have a dog of his own? Dogs are therapeutic for humans in need of almost every kind of healing.

I'm sure Jean will answer in greater detail when she can, but yes, her brother has 2 special dogs. :)

Again, thank you so much for all of your prayers and well wishes. Jerry has two dogs that are his whole world. They spend weekends with him in the country. Rusty is a red dog, looks kind of like an Irish setter to me. She is older and starting to experience old age symptoms like arthritis and hearing loss. The other is a big white dog and the name escapes me now. They are jerry's world to him, just like our Yorkies are to us. I know they are giving him love and comfort that us humans can't even begin to give him. So he is doing OK as long as he has his dogs and his country life.

I want to thank you Sherri and Kristin and let you both know how much I have appreciated your friendship and loving concern. You are both beyond exceptional people and I am grateful that I have gotten to know you. Hugs to you!!! Jean
