I am so very sorry for your loss of precious Daisy......I know your heart is absolutely breaking now, especially in light of the massive load your have had to bear recently. Know I am praying for you....that is all I can offer.....my heart is breaking under the load YOU are having to deal with during this time.....God bless you and your family, and God help heal the raw wound the loss of precious Daisy has left you.

Thank you so much, Judy. This was such a shock for this diagnosis to pop up so suddenly. Apparently it was a fast growing thing that was tearing her up inside. Losing her is almost unbearable. The only thing that made it bearable was knowing that she will not spend another night in pain and fear lIke she did last night. As soon as we saw that she was starting to suffer we knew it was time. My heart is just broken.

Daisy
 
How my heart breaks for you losing your precious Daisy. Cancer is such an awful affliction and for you the diagnosis was such a shock, and then she just ran out of strength to fight it any more. Bless her heart, but now she is pain free and running happily at the Rainbow Bridge. Losing a pet is so devastating and we miss our lost ones so badly. This on top of the stress you are going through with your dear brother. Life is so cruel sometimes. Know we are thinking of you and wishing you peace and love. Prayers for you and your family. Hugs. Dot xxxxx

Thank you so much Gail. I will miss her so terribly. She was the love of my life. It tore me up to see my husband cry today. Daisy was that one in a million little stinker who always kept us on our toes. Way smarter than both of us put together and she knew what we were thinking before we did. She is at peace now. I think I will hear her crying to go outside to potty in my sleep tonight. My little Angel. I hope she understood.

RIP sweet Daisy.
Thank you, Dot. Losing this one has hurt the worst. The vet said that Teddy Bear will probably be looking for her and mourn her. I just feel thankful that I still have him to help heal my heart. He will get a lot of extra TLC in the coming days.

You little Angel understood that she was a very loved little girl, so loved that you did what was best for her even though doing it broke your heart. My deepest sympathies on the loss of your sweet Daisy.

Thank you Carolyn. She was such a presence in the house. Always at our feet letting us know what she wanted. You never had to wonder what she wanted, she could let us know by her gestures and actions. She was still giving little kisses yesterday and today even though she felt awful. I will miss her so very much.

Poor little Teddy Bear, he does not know why his buddy is not there. Dogs do mourn their friends and I am sure that he will look to you for comfort in the coming weeks. He will get all the TLC he needs and more as you hold him close and cry in mourning. I can well imagine you will hear Daisy cry in the night and you will imagine you see her everywhere. They do not leave us in our minds and we are in denial that they are really gone. But time is a great healer and both you and Teddy will one day just remember the good times. I know it takes a long time to recover from the loss, but we will always love and remember them.

Jean, I'm sure she understood. She knew she was loved. You did the hardest thing a parent has to do for your baby, let her go to rest in peace.

I can imagine how hard it was for you to see your husband cry saying goodbye to his special little girl.

I hope you will also post a tribute to your beautiful Daisy in the RIP section, if you are up to it. When you are up to it.

Thank you, Dot. I look forward to the time that I can think of her and smile instead of think about her and cry. I feel like I failed her in some way, letting her get this awful disease.

Thanks Kristin. It made me happy to see her acting so normally in the last few days. We had nice walks in the park that she enjoyed even though she tired out sooner and rode in the stroller. She was her old self just a couple of days ago when we passed a Yorkie walking on the path and she went on her crazy attack mode. She was resting peacefully on her cot on the deck until she saw a squirrel run across the yard. She flew down the steps after that varmint in full attack mode. I guess it gave me hope that she was acting pretty much her normal self. But what was taking place inside her was tearing her up. She maintained her a yorkie attitude to the end. My loving little Angel.

Kristin thank you so much for your love and support as we were going through this. It means so much. I will try to post in the RIP section tomorrow. My thoughts are so jumbled right now and I have tears rolling down my face as I read everyone's loving words. I can't even see what I'm typing

John loves these puppies every bit as much as I do. Our mutual love of dogs is what brought us together. Our first date way back when was walking our dogs. LOL

I wish there was something someone could do to ease the pain you are feeling. Daisy always knew how much you loved her. You showed her how much in everything you did for her during her life. She gave so much back to you as well. She is at peace now. Your wonderful memories of her will eventually make you smile. Please let me know if I can help in any way. God Bless!
