Sally, my thoughts, prayers, and heart are with you and Andy. I hope this surgery helps to heal Andy. I have lived through eight back surgeries with my husband, so I know what it feels like to see someone you love cope with such intractable pain. I wish you, Andy, and Harry brighter days ahead filled with hope, health, love, and happiness.

Once again, he needs major surgery - and it's happening this Saturday 14th.

Oh, no! I'm so sorry to read this bad news. Poor Andy - this sounds like it will be a tough one. Hopefully he'll feel lots better once he's recuperated from the surgery. I'm so sorry but will sure be praying hard this week and during Andy's surgery time. Hold on, Sally, stay courageous and know how many people out here love you, are praying hard and wishing only the best for Andy's total recovery. Take care of yourself, too, during this time and hopefully your family and friends can gather round and help you through this. We'll be waiting for the good news that he's through surgery and awake Saturday. All my love to Andy and Sally!

:) Firstly, thank you ALL so very, very much for your wonderful support, good thoughts and lovely messages....it means so very much to me.

He had his pre-op assessment yesterday afternoon - and we've just heard that I have to take him for a heart scan at 5 p.m. 'our time' on Friday 13th (:() to check that he's able to have his operation on Saturday. He had a heart attack some years ago, and still suffers with angina....so they have to be absolutely sure that it'll be safe....

Hopefully all will go ahead as planned - he's really psyched himself up for it, and really doesn't want or need any setbacks now at the last moment...

All being well, his surgery is scheduled for 7 a.m. on the 14th - I shall, of course, keep you posted....fingers crossed still please, everyone!!!

Thinking of and praying for Andy today and tonight, Sally. I hope you have someone to be with you tomorrow at the hospital and through these next days. Try to rest as much as possible today, tonight. Take lots of money for vending machines, a good book and your phone charger with you. We're all with you two all the way and are anxious to hear when Andy is done with surgery. Give little Harry an extra hug for me tonight. Bless you all.

Firstly, my apologies for being slow in responding to all the lovely thoughts, messages and pm's...it's been very, very hectic!!!

Andy's heart scan went well, I've now come home to sort Harry out for a couple of hours before going back to the hospital. He's slightly spaced out after his pre-med, so it seemed a good time to take Harry for a long, sunny, mind-clearing walk....:)

Love and great big hugs to you all - will try to get back on YT this evening, as soon as I know more. In the meantime, Happy Saturday! :D xxx
