Made me tear up to read this, Jodi. How glad I am it's all finally worked out for you both. The fact that she is so close to you will mean even more to you in the future as time goes on. It was a wonderful thing you did, girl!

Jodi, I am so happy for you and Ginger to have the gift of this special time together. The past is done, and the future is all we have, and knowing it may be somewhat limited, makes it so important to have all the little "moments" possible. Bless you both.

Love is patient and kind…and a mother's love is stronger than circumstance often with sacrifice…and so is a daughter's. Glad you get this time with your Mom.

Special thoughts for Jodi as she says goodbye to dear Sweet Ginger....I don't know a better real life miracle...then that of Jodi being reunited with her birthmom and not only has she found her but she stepped in and tirelessly and lovingly assumed the role of caretaker and has spent much of the last couple of years making sure Ginger was well cared for and advocating night and day on her behalf....Jodi is Ginger's legal guardian but I think she is truly her Guardian Angel....

Jodi is truly wonderful and has given Ginger all the love and caring for her. I am keep them both wrapped in prayer and sending comforting thoughts :love:

She is still hanging in there. I think she is waiting for her son John to get here. Thank you for your kind words and prayers.

Very true! Jodi has done a phenomenal job caring for Ginger. Ginger will be in a better place, she's suffered enough. I'm glad all her children will be there as she says goodbye. Prayers for Jodi though this time.

I missed this thread before. Jodi, I am so happy that you found your mom and you both got to spend a few precious years getting to know each other. What an amazing, beautiful story! I am praying for you and Ginger as you spend your final time together. Your love for each other came shining through your words. Hugs.

So very sorry to hear of the loss of your dear mother Ginger. Bless her, she stayed with you long enough for the family to be by her side.
You sure did everything in your power to make her last years comfortable and happy, and what a blessing it was that you were reunited.

Lynzy expressed it beautifully -- you were her guardian angel. I am glad you found each other and had the time together that you shared. Just wish it could have been longer.

I'm very sorry for your deep loss. Ginger's and your lives were/are so much richer because of those treasured moments you spent caring for her and getting to know each other. I hope the memories of this loving time in your life help to sustain you when you are feeling sad. Mother and daughter, two very beautiful words to me. You are a wonderful daughter.
