I had to go to a doctor's appointment with my husband after work, and I was particularly tired. I knew you'd be exhausted last night, but I was so hoping you weren't discouraged by your appointment. I fell asleep, too, without realizing. I was on the floor in the hall playing with Katie, and I don't know if it was long because my husband must have fallen asleep, too. I think my back does better when I fall asleep in bed rather than the floor.

I know! There's something about going to the doctor that just wears on me. Hate it! And from now on, try the bed instead of the floor, Miss Lisa, it does work out better next time you try to walk.

No, I wasn't discouraged at all - I felt a little better after seeing the surgeon's confidence and calm demeanor. Just hate going to the doctor and all that!

I love you all back so very much - such a great and attentive group of ladies and gents. Such a source of strength and help!

I hate it, too, but, at least it's early stage and treatable! Yea! I will try my best to not go knock-kneed at the last moment next Thursday. Thanks for those prayers and thoughts - they keep me strong and work wonders.

I must have gone almost immediately to sleep because the next thing I know it's 1:44 a.m. and Tibbe is frantically going in circles he needed to potty so badly. Sorry I didn't respond before now but have been talking to family and friends and trying to arrange things this morning.

You had a very long day yesterday. Now, you need to rest as much as possible, prior to your surgery.

Sheila & I are having a mass said for you on March 6th.

And you continue to remain at the top of our prayer list.

I remember, very well, everything that had to be arranged, before Sheila's surgery, so please don't apologize for not posting.

Jeanie, sending more prayers and hugs to you today. Even though it can get scary, I think that once you know you have the dreaded "C" inside of you, you feel more empowered once you have a treatment plan established, and can focus on getting it out of you.

God bless for that and I'll do my best to hang in there. The treatments worry me a bit but many have made it through them and I'm sure I will, too.

I also have breast cancer so I know how you feel. Have been thru chemo and now on March 11 I will be having a double masectemy and I am really scared. I worry about my little Magic as my husband loves him but cannot take care of him the way I do. Just hoping I make it thru surgery.

Oh no. I'm so sorry to hear you are having to have so much surgery so soon. I'm so glad you have a man to stand by you and help you through this and I pray you won't need to worry how he'll care for your baby alone. I'll be praying daily for you. I can only imagine how scared you are.

You would be surprised how versatile the pups are. I worried about this as well. My pups did great and so did the rest of the family. We had a few bumps and hiccups but we managed.

After my surgery, when I could lift, my dogs became my weights.... Lol. I would pick up my 5 lb girl with both hands 3 times and as I lifted, give her a kiss. Then later the 3 lb boy 5 times, with a kiss each time. I did this with all 3 dogs throughout the day, gradually increasing how many times I lifted. It passed the time, I spent time with them and it kept us all occupied.
