Kelly had a rough day today because of meds making her sick. So, they switched her to Tylenol & she improved quickly. While she was down Patty visited her, looking healthy & talking about how much she enjoyed her lunch of chicken breast & mac & cheese. She has been on limited protein for a long time. The girls are both resting now. We are spending one more night & will head home tomorrow. Thank you all for the prayers & good wishes for the girls.

I've been thinking and wondering about the girls since yesterday. So happy to see both are doing so well.

Kelly is home! We made the 2 1/2 hour trip home this afternoon. She's resting and eating (finally). She is really doing well today and just using tylenol most of the time. She has stronger meds if she needs them.
Patty has a few more days there. She has a 5 hr ride home. Today was not as good a day as yesterday. She was having a reaction to her meds and trying to get her system working right. The kidney has her going to the bathroom every 2 hrs! She's so happy.
We took Kel into see her before we left. Lots of tears.

So glad you have your baby home, grown though she may be. She is something special and has distinguished herself among humans with her total selflessness, giving heart and bravery. What a woman she turned out to be. I don't even know her but it is a privilege to feel somehow I do through your words and descriptions here and I'm so very proud of her. I can't imagine how proud you are! She is my hero of the year!
