I'm just seeing this now --- Austin!

I'm glad he is going to be okay. He really banged himself up and gave you a good scare. Praying he recovers quickly.

Well we were up late. His eye gash was hurting so we put an ice pack on it. Then his chin gash bled a little. He's exhausted and I'm exhausted. Lol. The joys of motherhood. I'm thinking the pain of the hit will be today. I'm letting him sleep so I will find out when he wakes up.

I'm going to discuss the bait and switch story today. I'm a little ticked off at him now that he is ok. Haha. I know lots of people have trampolines but I'm going to end his fun with them. I told him last night if he ever got on another one I would be keeping his cell phone (which is his life line).

The doctor was very nice to us. He said Austin was at the age that he commonly sees. Great....that means there is more to come.

Oh man! Glad he'll be ok Rhonda.

We had a trampoline when my kids were young. The rule was 1 person on it at a time. Kids in the neighborhood always had the safety lecture from me if they wanted to use it. I was "the mean mom" for awhile

That poor mother was so upset that Austin got hurt. I assured her it wasn't her fault. She ended the conversation with me telling me that Austin was more than welcome to come back. He just can't jump on her trampoline. BWAHAHAHAHA

Whoever started selling trampolines to the public had to have stock in medical supply companies and a couple of hospital foundations and thought of a brilliant way to maximize their investment dollars. They should come with directions to the closest ER and how to splint a fracture.

I hope so but pain and soreness never stopped Danny. He just had to live on the go and in constant motion! The child could get brand new jeans with reinforced knees and have holes in the knees that very day, often by lunch! I was constantly ironing new reinforcing knee patches on his jeans' knees and other parts. I still cannot believe he lived through his youth largely intact! For that matter, I'm pretty surprised I made it through without a stroke or tranquilizer habit.

Poor guy! I have to agree with Jeanie though, there is probably more to come. I don't remember how many times my younger brother had to have stitches. Lost count.

The doctor said the same thing! Apparently boys are 23 before they get common sense! Haha!
