Sending many prayers. |
Jada made it through the night! WTG, Jada! Here's hoping and praying that this day finds her stronger and defying logic. |
Praying for a miracle for Jada today. |
Praying for Jada: lungs, strength, lungs, healing, lungs, ECMO, lungs, circulation, lungs, her piggies, lungs, her medical team, her family, & lungs. God, I believe if we all come together and pray Miss Jada will be healed. Please, rest your arms around her bc she needs you. She needs a miracle and we know you provide. We love you. Amen. |

Praying that the circulation in Jada's leg strengthens and that her body can fight off the infection, and most of all for lungs for her. |
Continuing to pray for Jada. Stay strong sweet girl, God hears our prayers. :rose: |
Praying hard for a miracle for Jada! I am so sorry this beautiful young lady is suffering so badly! |
I am praying for you Jada to get the healthy lungs you need. You are a brave girl and so many of us praying to our Lord to intervene for you. |
It is such a wonderful thing to see so many YT friends and even strangers rally around an give you the moral and spiritual support that you need as you deal with all of the unknown with Jada. I am praying and hoping that she gets a healthy lung soon and that god will keep her in his blessings until she does. |
Just checking for any updates on Jada. Continuing to pray for you and your family. |
was hoping to see an update....praying things are still moving forward and jada is still getting better. |
Here's my text from Terri earlier for anyone interested. We are waiting for them to put another line in...which is almost impossible with her damaged veins. They are going to try a diaretic before trying dialysis. |
Continued prayers for Jada... |
praying they can find a way to get it done. |
Things sound pretty dire. Praying for Jada to make it through this awful time. |
Thank you all so much for your prayers!!! Keep 'em coming! I wasn't able to get to a computer the last couple of days. With a heart that still wants to be in Birmingham, I am reluctantly back home because I need to work the rest of the week. Believe me, I'm in the car at a moment's notice. Here is what I keep telling my Mom, Sister, and Daddy: "We take this moment by moment. God could come get us all in the next moment. One of us could 'go' in the next moment. We do not know and we can't write this girl's next moment. So, we take it moment by moment and the rest of the moment's are left in HIS hands." This can say what's going on at THIS moment better than I could write it. My sister's latest update (about an hour ago): "Using diuretics to expel fluids. Slow process, and I think he'd like it quicker, but I can already see a difference. She has had to be suctioned a lot, but she seems to be keeping her numbers pretty stable. I thought she looked almost comfortable today (drug induced, I know, but still comfortable) Pray as they decide what steps to take toward waking her and getting mobile. This would require different access lines for the ECMO, and as anyone who has cared for her, medically, in the last 10 years can attest, Jada has vertually NO access left. The Docs are scratching their heads. Pray, also, for this fluid to leave peacefully, without a fight, and that maybe she will awake in the morning, fresh as a daisy :) Oh, and my Daddy made my computer work again on the hospital internet! Woo hoo! ~~even if...she lays in bed...I will praise Him." Bottom line - we can't let her kidneys fail. And if they put her on the CRRT machine (if the diuretics don't work), that will most likely bump her score down on the Transplant List (it may even remove her from the list). HOWEVER, if that does happen..it doesn't have to be permanent. IF she must go on the CRRT and she comes off the CRRT, she can be put back on the list (where she is currently at the top in her catagory and region). Pray that tonight is a miraculous night of peeeeeeeeee. We were doing cheers by her bedside today and yesterday. (Jada used to cheerlead). Give me a P!! Give me a P!!! Goooo P-P!!!! :D Moment by moment....... |
You are so resourceful! I had to laugh at the 'cheer'. Still praying hard for Jada and her family and doctors. |
Continued Prayers! |
Keeping the prayers going. |
Prayers continue for Jada and all of you to stay strong and filled with the peace that passes understanding. |
I'm glad Jada is hanging in there. I hope her kidneys do OK and she doesn't have to do CRRT, especially if that might bump her off the list. She is obviously a very strong person to have made it this far. Continuing to pray... |
Continuing to pray for Jada and to give your family strength. |
All, I got the following text from Terri and she has ask me to provide an update: "Jada is breathing easy in Heaven with her father now" She also wanted to thank everyone and let you know your prayers mean everything.
