I just read through this thread and was so very sorry to hear the sad news. I was hoping and praying for a miracle. Please accept my deepest sympathy to you and your family. While losing Jada at such a young age is difficult to accept, one thing is certain, Jada didn't "pass away", she just "passed through" this temporary life on earth, and moved on to eternal life in heaven. Praise be to God! You will see her again one day!!!

The decal is wonderful. I love it. So simple and yet so powerful.

And it really, really hit me. My brother is 4 years younger (1994) and his birthday was June 2. And we called him Bug when he was little and still do every now and then.

Someone is going to see that decal and it's going to change things. Whether it's along the lines of someone deciding to donate money or "convincing" them to be an organ donor, I have no doubt someone's life is going to change because of it.

You are so very right. We will see her again. I know she is having the best time in Heaven right now with all her friends who went before her and them all breathing perfectly in their perfect new bodies. Thank you for this - meant a lot right now :)

Heather! That is so neat that your June 2nd brother was/is called Bug. Love it!

Also, you just gave me an idea for my next decal! I was wanting one to balance out the sides of my car (and my nephew's wife can make anything custom)...I'm going to do one about being an organ donor! Gonna figure out the wording and any graphics I may want. Thank you!! :love:

One of Jada's first tattoos was of some shooting stars. It might have been her very first, but if not...soon after.

3 years ago, I went with Jada and my sister to get tattoos. I got the butterfly that I've posted before and my sister got Jada's Stars with the words "Just Breathe" (I got those words with my butterfly, too. And we both highlighted the J and B because those were Jada's initials).

Well, without further ado (sp?), I went today and got my own "Jada's Stars" with a little addition of her name. It is wrapped around the front and side of my ankle so please piece together these pics lol

Teri, I went back and read this thread, because I missed it all. I am SO sorry for your loss. Jada was a sweet and special girl. I am sure this time is agony for your sister and you, Jada's whole family. Your smilebox tribune, your new tags, your decal and your new tattoo are all wonderful tributes to Jada and I know they will raise awareness.

I also wanted to show off what I just got in the mail yesterday. I'm so excited. My puzzle is complete now. *NOTE* After a CF patient passes away, it is custom to say "Breathe Easy" (so the "BE" you are about to see has a double entendre on purpose...)

Well, we lost the 5th girl of the Fab Five CF Friends today, August 12, 2013.

Please pray for Kari's family. She fought a ferocious fight and now she is resting in her new Heavenly body. She was a beloved daughter, wife, and friend.

Breathe Easy, Kari Deigh. Have fun up there with the rest of your Crew!

I am so sorry, Terri. Cystic fibrosis is such a dreadful disease. Your love for Jada shines through in every word you write. You will feel that love all the days of your life, and it will support you during both happy and sad times. I love your new license plate.

Thank you all for indulging me on this day. It is hard just knowing the last of the five is gone now. It brings back the end of May and I can't get Jada off my mind.

I speak of the Fab Five and I just wanted to share this video with anyone who wants to see their beautiful faces. Merideth Ashley Brown was Jada's BFF, but they were all super close. Ashley made this video less than 3 years ago. She made it to tell all of her friends how much she loved them. In 3 short years...all are gone. CF SUCKS!!!!!!

Such a touching video. That is very sad! :( My heart breaks for you and the families of those girls! They were all so beautiful! RIP Fab 5! Raise some HECK in Heaven and breathe easy!
