This morning , I received a phone call from St Luc hospital in Montreal .
I'll have my exploring surgery on May 16 , tomorrow , I'll have to go for the admission . After the surgery , they'll determine if they'll remove the lung .
I'll stay at the hospital for 2 or 3 days if there are no complications .

Milles- I hope you know we've all been praying for you all along. I hope this procedure gives you some definitive answers as I am sure that's weighing heavily on your mind.

Hi , this is Fern ,

Here is an update on Gilles .

He didn't had his surgery . The surgeon went to tell him that he had 2 emergency surgeries , he will re - schedule him for later . Needless to say that Gilles wasn't very happy .

Actually , he is sleeping . The travel for home made him very tired .

I went for a little walk with Mollie Jade and someone told me that I was too drunk to walk with a dog . When I told her I had cancer , she told me that I didn't have the courage to fight the illness . I was so hurt , came back home and cried .
How come people can be so mean ?

Some people are just idiots Gilles...try not to let it bother you. We, your friends, and your loved ones know how courageous you are. Hugs

You know Gilles, I don't know you all that well at all, but I know it takes courage to fight this illness. The more people I have to deal with on a regular basis, the more I prefer the company of my babies! Some people just don't have the sense the Good Lord gave them. Hang in there, we are all pulling for you, of course prayers always continue. (((HUGGZZ)))

Oh my goodness this just breaks my heart that someone would say something like that to you.

Gilles, I am so sorry for that heartless person. You are so very brave in fighting this and we are all here for you and praying for you. Please let us know when you will be going to see the doctor.

I will never let myself discouraged by these kind of peoples . They think they know everything . I am also happy that I can keep some meals up .

I was very proud that I could take a little walk with Mollie Jade and it is all that counted for me . She is always watching on me . The other day I forgot to place her on the bed when I took a nap . When I woke up , she was near the bed , looking at me .

That was clearly the Devil, Giles, trying to steal your Faith and joy. You get your Rosery and your Bible and restore your strength and Faith...you are and have been courageous....you know that and anyone that knows you, also knows that. You concentrate on those that love you, draw your strength and courage from them, and pay no attention to anyone else....those people are a moot point.

ANyone fighting cancer is strong beyond words. I am glad you are not letting someone's rude and insensitive remarks get you down. I am keeping you in my prayers.

Admission on May 22 , they'll call me when they'll have a place .
