♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | Well the appt. went well. We have the cast off. They had him stand for X-rays I said before he went you may want to take the crutches. He said no and the X-ray tech thought it would be fine. Remember this is been going on for almost a year and a half. Well he said he put just a little weight on it and almost passed out. Scared the tech badly as my dh is not a little guy and he was grabbing for whatever he could to hold himself up. It ended well he did not pass out or fall. Then they took the X-ray and she said wow how many surgeries have you had. Maybe should have asked first. Lol. Anyways now we just take it slow. I can say the one area that constantly was leaking is all healed and looks wonderful. The walking boot will be on for at least four weeks maybe longer. But it's a step in the right direction. It's been a long haul and I want to thank you all for keeping us in your prayers. Love my yt family

| Sending prayers of thanksgiving for your hubby's improvement. Recovery from a serious leg injury is a lengthy process. He is at a very frustrating part of recovery - almost there, but not quite. He really needs to follow his medical team's orders or he'll be back under the knife. I am in year 6 of my recovery - I've had 6 surgeries and I'm still in recovery. Nice and easy is a good thing |

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | You are so right. He just wants to walk on it. He is so sick of being not able to. I have to give him a lot of credit he has been very good. But the weather is warming up and he is very restless. He keeps saying last time I was in the boot it felt different. It's has not been out of cast for 24 hrs yet. Yes he has had six surgeries in the last 15 months. The ankel and leg need time. So is you injury getting better. Or do you still have lots of pain ?
