♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | Dh surgery Sitting in the waiting room looks to be another long day. Found out this morning there will be another surgery. Today they will take out hardware and pack with a type of beads to help with the infection he has had all along. Mind you dh ask about this every time and they said not to worry. It is like the size of a pimple that has leaked. Anyways the nurse said today it will be a month or more before he will have the fusion. I really wanted to get it done in this year for insurance deductible. Okay trying to stay positive. He will be going into surgery soon. We also were told he would be the second surgery you can not call till 8:15 the night before to find out what time you have to report. And it was 5:45am. Had to leave our home at 2:30am so not much sleep. So another reason to be crabby. Okay sorry just a little upset this morning. But it will pass. You all have a great day

| I'll sure be praying for your husband and that his surgery goes well. Keep us updated as to how he is going when you can and don't forget to take a little care of yourself. Rest when you can and maybe stop for a nice dinner on your way home after you leave the hospital.

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | Oh I will be spending all my time in the hospital. They said he would be here 2 to 4 days. I will get a hotel across the street later today. I will have lots of time for my iPad. Thank goodness it gives me something to do. My mom came with me. So that is nice I just hope his pain level is okay. He has been so good but how can you not start to get a little down I will try to be upbeat and positive. But at times I wonder. It could be much worse that is for sure.

| So glad to hear your mom is with you. Keeping up your spirits now has got to be hard. Keeping his & your mind busy as you can with distractions as you know will help a lot - anything to avoid thinking and worrying. Praying for all of you.

| Glad he's awake! Hope they can get that pain controlled soon. Those first 2 hours after waking up are very grim painwise.

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | Yes the pain is getting better. Now they are treating with lots of antibiotics Just put a second IV in. Because pain meds and this antibiotic can not go through same IV surgeon said things looked good but have some questionable area. Have to wait for cultures to come back. I don't understand why they didn't worry about this before Anyways will keep you all updated On a better note when we left this morning. DH says to Riley. I sure wish I could take you with. He loves his yorkies he told all three dogs he would miss them. Riley and he have really really bonded in this year. When I get ready for work both Riley and Lily sit on his lap as to say you may leave us but he won't. They have been great therapy
