Well, we go to the pulmonary doctor next Tuesday. She'll have a repeat chest x-ray before that. I'm hoping it looks better. |

I'm just now seeing this. You are so blessed to have your mom with you. I pray that God will lay His healing hand on your mom and bring comfort to her. I pray God will give you strength as you continue to care for your mom. |
I am just seeing this and i am so sorry that your mom is not well...my mom lived with me a few years before she passed in 88 and i still miss her so much, i will be praying for her and you.. |
awwwh just reading this for the first time, sure sounds like you have a very special mother and daughter bond. I hope the appointment goes well, sending prayers your way. |
I am keeping your Mom in my prayers every day. I hope it's just a harmless nodule. |
Prayers for you and your Mom. I am thinking about you both. |
Bless her little heart!!! Be sure and give her those breathing treatments.....at least three times a day...those treatments will help her lungs clear, along with her antibiotics. I dont know if she has had it or not, but there is a pneumonia shot that a lot of people do not know about...you can see that she gets it after she gets over this....They offer it every 3-5 years for the elderly, or the very young, or people with any respiratory issues...it really is a life saver....it does not prevent pneumonias that are caused by bacteria a patient may pick up as a secondary infection in the hospital, but it is really effective on the pneumonias you may develop during "every day life".....if the person DOES develop pneumonia, it is a much less severe case....I really wish all seniors would get this protection... |
I am new to this site, and I just saw your post about your Mom this morning and was wondering how she is doing? I am praying for her speedy recovery and for you too. Watching our parents going through difficulties is so hard. Bless you... Donsie |

Thanks so much Patti! |
Update Thought I would give an update on my mom. She's doing fair, a little better than 3 weeks ago. We go see the pulmonary doc. tomorrow so we'll see what he says. She will need a repeat chest CT in 3-6 months as the first one showed a 0.08cm. nodule that could represent cancer. Thank you all for keeping her in your prayers. It means more than you will ever know. |
I am just seeing this, and I wanted to say that I am so sorry you and your mom are going through this! I will keep both of you in my prayer!! I'm glad she's doing a little better, and I will pray that she continues to improve! |
You And your mom will be in my prayers today. |
Keeping you both in my prayers. After my DH was diagnosed with lung cancer I went and got the CT scan he had 2 years before. It mentioned at the end that there were 2 small 0.07 nodules in his left lung. They never mentioned it to us at the time. Anyway he developed cancer in his right lung and the small nodules in his left lung were benign, hopefully this will be the case for your Mom. Hugs |
