Sending prayers and ((HUGGZZ)) your way. Hoping the CT scan comes back normal. |
I'm sorry your Mom is ill and I will deff say some Prayers for her. Pneumonia can be difficult for elderly people to get over, I ask you Lord to give this woman the strength to fight this off & be well in no time. Some things to consider, Dairy products , bananas & soda are some of the things that should be avoided with pneumonia as they promote the production of mucous. There are other things to avoid but I can't think of them at the moment. You can do a search for foods to avoid with pneumonia. |
Payers for your mom & you too. Hugs |
Keeping you and your mom in my thoughts and prayers. |
I too have an elderly mom living with me. She fell about a year ago and broke her wrist and femur. She went to rehab and I was not sure how I would care for her at home but asured her she would be returing home. She will be 98 next month and I thank God that she survived. She is able to be left at home and I have been able to continue to work. Best of all she has remained as sharp as ever. I know at almost 98 I am very lucky to have her in my life. Soo 91 is still young and all things are possible through faith. I'll keep you both in my prayers. I know it's not easy but you can come here anytime you need a shoulder. Keep us posted on how you are both doing. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. |
Jan, just now seeing your post. I will most certainly pray that your Mom will be OK. Please let know what the CT Scan say's. I pray they find nothing at all. Sending you hug's as well. |

Looking for an update...hope things are ok.. |
Hello, This has been a week. My mom came home tonight though the way she was breathing when we got home, it seemed as though she should still be in the hospital. She came home on antibiotics twice a day and breathing treatments as needed. She seems so weak and frail. Not so sure that she will get much better. She had the CT scan and along with the fluid in her lungs, it showed a 0.08cm nodule that could represent cancer. The doctor wants a follow up CT in 3-6 months. All of your prayers are so appreciated, you will never know how much it means to me. Thank you all so very much. |
