Alex Update

Well, that didn't happen. He didn't get released, we go back in three weeks, and he is still having to have the knee dressed. Hoping it is the LAST time we have to go in!!! Thanks to all my YT friends who have said special prayers for my son!

Just seeing this thread, but you know how thrilled I am that Alex is finally progressing

I hope Alex' knee continues to heal and that you can spend time just giving him the love that you both deserve. He is very lucky to have you as his mom, but I suspect you are also truly lucky to have such a special son to love.

Thank you so much everyone!! And lisaly, you are right, I am very blessed to have a special child. He is always so happy and loving! The world would be a better place if we all have his attitude.

He also is very very smart. He has figured out if he tells me his knee hurts he gets extra attention. And he gets momma attention. Now, you tell me this isn't one smart boy. He also knows that as long as his knee "hurts" he gets to be in momma's bedroom. I am thinking he doesn't want this thing to heal. He loves all this attention. His bandaged knee has been a chick magnet for him!!

That is very good news!! I'm praying for continued healing for his knee! Between your skin son and your furbabies...your hands are a little full in the knee department right now!! So, I'm praying for everyone to have a speedy recovery!!!

hehehehe, chick magnet! boys will always be boys i guess. I am so happy that Alex is feeling better.. I will continue to send prayers that his recovery speeds up and goes better each day
