Hang in!

My Dad had a total knee and had lots of pain and the rehab was really rough but he toughed out and the outcome was awesome. Seems like it has to get worse before it gets better.

Mom is resting well. Right now she is asleep and hopefully will get a good nights sleep tonight. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. I know she has lots of rehab to come and will still be in some pain, but I think the horrible pain she was experiencing last night is at least being managed.

Sorry for not updating yesterday. It has been a long weekend, but Mom is now at home and though it is going to be a long recovery, her pain is at least controlled now. I think being at home will really help. She was so worried the whole time about her little biewer girl Jazzy even though Dad was going home every night to take care of her.
Dad said the minute they got Mom into the house and in her hospital bed, Jazzy jumped up on her lap and stayed there all evening.

Happy to hear that the pain meds kicked in and your mom was able to come home. Still sending prayers that she continues to improve.

awww...how sweet Jazzy sounds...you know she missed her momma and of course momma missed her too. I glad she's feeling better and is on the road to recovery.

I stopped by to check on Mom on my way home from work. Her physical therapist and home health nurse came today. She was in some pain from the therapy, but overall is doing as well as could be expected 4 days after surgery.
Pray for Dad too as he is there 24-7 and myself and my 2 brothers and my sister all work, but we are trying to help out and give him a break every day, at least for an hour or so.

Just wanted to post and update on Mom. She has had a few really rough days since coming home from the hospital. Yesterday afternoon she was feeling much better. She has the best nurse in the world helping her heal..her and Dad's little Biewer Jazzy.

In the first pic Jazzy is waiting on me to come in off the patio...second pic is her and Mom...and the last pic is Jazzy all snuggled up with Mom when I left for the day.
