I am so sorry to hear this. That poor man...and his family. I think cancer is as hard on the family as it is on the patient. I will pray that he be healed. Hugs to you.

Thank you all so much for your continued prayers and I know it is helping. He is done with radiation now and after 3 weeks I guess they will know whether or not it is helping and how much of the cancer is gone. He will then find out if he needs more radiation or if he will need to start chemo again. As much as he does not like the feeding tube it is helping him. His spirits are up and down which I think goes along with the pain and irritation in his throat.
When we find out more I will update.

I can't imagine the pain he is in. My DH has the radiation burns in his throat from the lung radiation and it is the main thing that is keeping him so down. I will keep him in my prayers for healing.

I am just now reading this and horrified to read of the tragedy in this poor man's life. I just pray to God that he and Patti's DH can draw strength from God, the family and the little community here who are praying and believing God for their healing. It is hard to know what to say when reading of such pain in this world but just saying a willing heart here will be lifting them up in continued prayer and hope on a daily basis is maybe saying enough for now. May God help and comfort and heal these dear men.

Thank you so much for the prayers and kind words it has been a difficult road so far. He is done with radiation for the time being but he was rushed to the ER by ambulance last night because he has blood/bleeding in his throat-I assume from sores but the DR also said his feeding tube area is infected.
I have not received an update on him yet today but when I do I will let you know.
PLEASE, PLEASE keep the prayers coming they are so very much needed and appreciated!!!
I am also sending up prayers for Patti's DH and keeping an eye on the updates.

Again thank you for the prayers, kindness and support!!!

Once again thank you all sooo very much for the kind words and especially the much needed prayers!! He went home from the hospital yesterday. His feeding tube was infected and the bleeding in his throat was from radiation. He is home and resting now. They are letting him rest and heal for a week or so and then they will determine the next course of action whether it be more radiation or chemo again.
He and his wife have endured so much pain and heartache I just pray that this have a miraculous outcome for them and I know with all of the prayers that God will get them through this!!!
