Patti, I may not always post but I've keep you and Ken in my prayers and think of you often.

Merciful God, we remember before you Ken who is sick this day. Give him courage to live with this disease. Help him and his loved ones to face and overcome their fears and comfort them when they are discouraged. May you guide the doctors and surgeons who treat Ken and send them knowledge. Offer comfort to Patti who is so afraid and emotionally drained. This I ask in your name now and forever.

Patti, I am so sorry you have received disappointing news. I'm praying that you will have the strength to carry on and that the next treatment is successful in fighting back the cancer.

Many of us have walked in your shoes, and understand with utmost compassion all that you and Ken are going through. All your Yorkie Talk friends are praying for Ken to pull through this.

Just want to let you know that you and Ken are in my prayers this week as he goes through chemo. God said he would never give us more than we could bear. God is by your side this week to see you both through this. Give it all to Jesus. God bless you both.

We got the CT scan results and the cytology results from the fluid they removed today. The fluid showed malignant cells and the CT scan showed 2 new small nodules. Their was some shrinkage of a couple of lymph nodes in his lung and the main tumor has not grown. Also, Ken has a new enlarged lymph node in his neck. So tomorrow he starts chemo with Taxol. I really couldn't get through each day without the help of everyone's prayers and good thoughts and frequent phone conversations with Connie and Patti. It's amazing how people you have never met can make such a difference in your life.

"Jack is sitting here by me and he said to tell you he sends his prayers for you both. He also said maybe sometime when Ken is feeling better that they can meet and play a chess or checker game together on line also to tell Ken the arcade games here at Yorkie Talk are GREAT "
