That's grate news I hope he can keep his appetite up!!! I know when I was taking care of my grandpa when he had colon CA that had spread pretty much everywhere, that was the worst part was watching him not wanting to eat . I did however manage to get him to drink a XL milk shake every night after I got off work! I'm praying for you guys every night! Please stay strong and best of luck! Thanks for the updates!

I am glad to hear Ken is feeling better and was able to visit with family and enjoy a burger! I hope he feels better and better every day!

That's very good news, Patti. Sending prayers that he will continue to improve daily and his nights get better, too. You might need to raise the head of the bed for him to make it easier for him to breathe at night.

This is really good news that Ken was able to eat. And even better news that he's quit smoking! Yay! It sounds as though being able to do something about all of this has lifted your spirits. I will continue to keep sending good thoughts and prayers for you and your family.

Thanks we really appreciate all the prayers and positive thoughts. Ken is having a lot of coughing, more than usual. At his treatment today they took Xrays. They said they do them after every 5 treatments. We see the radiation doctor Monday so we should know more. Also, next Thursday we see the medical oncologist to discuss his chemo treatment. So next week will be a stressful week.
