| So sorry to hear about the passing of your father-in-law. Sending prayers to you and your family.

| First of all I would like to thank Dana for starting this thread. Thank you all for your prayers and most of all being here for me. Thank you so much! This has been the longest week ever for me. I am so exausted. It was a matter of hours. The doctors told us that he would not be able to breath off the venalator. His only kidney had failed and it was just way to much for him to handle. It was the hardest thing we have ever done. I am sure Gabe knew he was ready. It was so much work but I really miss him. His smile would just make my day. I took him in to the doc in the morning and he was critical by that night. He kissed me on the forehead as I was taking him to the van to go in. Told me he loved me and then was not very responsive. I feel so sad but I know he is in a better place. Angels have taken him to a most sacred place and he will be free forever of all his pain and worries. Someday we will meet, I will see his big smile again. Life is so short and I have learned a great lesson here. You never know what will happen next. Thanks for all your support.
