| I'm so sorry you are going through this. My dad is having similar problems. His is down to 7 and they havent did the blood transfusions yet for some reason. He has been tested for just about everything and they can't find out what is wrong. He was sent to the Cancer center, can't seem to find any. They are doing a test for Bone cancer on him. he has to go for iron fusions every 4 weeks. Even with all of this, his blood count is still not going up. My thoughts and prayers are with you. |

| Hi Kerry, It sounds like we are in the same boat. My husband also has something wrong with him and we don't know what it is at this time. He has lost over 50 lbs in the past 3 months, has pain in his abdominal region, diarrhea, fatigue, nausea, very low drops in blood pressure...the list goes on. He has had CT scans, X-rays, ultrasounds, endoscopys, a colonoscopy, blood work, many "sample" tests, has been hospitalized and in the E.R. several times...and the list goes on there too. We were so frightened and all signs were pointing to Pancreatic cancer, as Crohn's, Colitis, and other possibilities were ruled out. Fortunately, this past Tuesday he finally had the test we were praying for, he had an endoscopy ultrasound of his pancreas and lymph nodes, and Praise the Lord, all looks clean. We now have another test on April 6th. Will wait to see what that determines, but I know exactly what you are going through. The not-knowing makes everything even more frightening and the mind starts to go to the dark place. Since the pancreas was ruled out, my husband's spirits have improved immensely. He was in a depression, thinking the worst. My spirits were also down, thinking I may lose him. We are still waiting to see what we are dealing with but we are hopeful. My prayers are with you and your husband, as I will pray for positive outcomes and healing for BOTH our husbands.... Please keep us updated. God Bless you both!!

| Just to update you.. Hubby had the consultation yesterday and they looked at all his notes. The Bone Marrow Biopsy was clear as was the CT scan etc, so no cancer! (PHEW!!) The consultant, while checking his Spleen, (which is enlarged) noticed a skin condition called Dermographia (hubby gets these odd dry patches and itching) this condition is sometimes associated with certain Blood disorders..so thats what they are checking for now, as well as immune disorders..so they have taken more blood and he has to go back in 2 months..in the meantime keep taking the Iron Tablets and not to overdo things. So, as you can imagine we are very relieved, its been an emotional rollercoaster the last few weeks and we are just both exhausted! We are going away for a week in 3 weeks time for our 15th wedding anniversary, so we are now looking forward to that and a much needed break! ![]() I would like to Thank each and every one of you that posted and thought about us..it means so much and you are all truly wonderful.. ![]() I'll keep you posted on what happens in the next few weeks. Kindest Regards, Kerry xxx

| Oh my heart goes out to both you, him for the pain & discomfort of all the test & you for what your heart & mind has gone through. I will continue to keep both of you in our prayers that it will be something less serious. I am rejoicing in the fact that there is not any lymphoma's to worry with. Good Luck to you both & please do keep us up to date. Always, Sheila

| Kerry So glad it was all ok, at least now you can both go away and have a nice little break. I know that some of the worry is still going to be there, but the dread of what it could have been is now over. They will soon get him sorted. Enjoy yourselves, dont do too much, speak to you soon. Hope pixiepoo is ok, Harvey is fine, and sends her a big sloppy wet one - YUK

| Thought i would update this post for those of you that were so kind as to post in support during what has been a very worrying time for my hubby & me. ![]() My hubby had a Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy last week, he has to go back in 6 weeks to have the video capsule Endoscopy and to have some of the Colon removed as they found inflamation & scar tissue which they think has been bleeding from time to time and probably for quite a while. He has an appointment with the consultant Haematologist on the 8 june when hopefully he will get the results of their findings & blood tests etc. In the meantime he is looking quite well and has more colour and has managed to put on 3-4lbs in weight! So once again..thankyou so much for all your kind words and i'll keep you posted.
