| Thanks everyone for their positive thoughts for Sedrick...THEY WORKED!! After seeing several different teams of specialists, and undergoing numerous tests, it was confirmed that the pin had not migrated and is in fact still in the exact same position. They did however, diagnose him with pharyngitis, but are at a loss of how he got it (possibly from choking or having something lodged in his throat) He was on prednisone and amoxicillan and that seems to be working on the swelling but now I am dealing with slight pancreatitis because of the effects of the prednisone Oh well, I would rather have that to deal with rather than a pin problem!! I have nothing but positive things to say about Western College of Veterinary Medicine and highly recommend them to anyone who can get a referral to them. I am going to try and post a pic of his neck but have to wait for hubby to help. Again, thanks, everyone from Sedrick and me for all your positive thoughts.
