jobs be darned... your daughter was violated.... kick butt and take names later...I'm sorry to sound harsh but.... they'll just do it to someone else if they aren't stopped.

No rape kit, it took her 3 days to tell me. She spent that time trying to figure out what happened. I know how easy it is to tell someone what they should do, but without being in that person's shoes and knowing the entire story, it's not so easy. I appreciate all you are saying, but it is her decision not to press it. She just wants to get past it as quick as possible.

That is horrible. I'm glad I'm too old to go out drinking anymore. I'd be walking around with a napkin over my drink. Prayers are definetly coming.

It's funny you should say that. That was exactly what I thought when I saw a Law and Order episode about date-rape. I didn't even know it existed before that. Life is so short - it's a shame that we have to worry about so much evil in the world - it's everywhere.

I talked to my daughter about this. It was disconcerting. I don't know if she'd tell me if it happened to her. She was like why? Not like the cops would/could do anything about it. Too hard to prove, they'll never find the guy, cops have more pressing things to do like find murderers. It was almost scary to hear her. Her dad is a cop and I'm going to have him talk to her. I want to make sure she understands that, god forbid, but if it happened that she tell us and/or report it.

Sandy I didn't mean any offense. I love you guys like family, you know that. I am just so angry and hurt for Krysten. I wanna come kick some a** myself.

I know you didn't and I wasn't offended. I would react the same way if it were someone else's dtr, too. But, your dtr is right, at least in this town, I have followed the police from donut shop to donut shop. I realize most police depts. aren't like this, but this is a small town and I know the sheriff(not well, but I work with his wife) and they are party central. She drives like a maniac-runs red lights, stop signs, speeds-and gets away with it because that's the was it is around here. There are so many unsolved crimes, it's unreal. There is no proof of anything except the drug in her urine which is the same one that is in sleeping pills. But she hadn't taken anything like that. He has alluded to being the culprit, but he talked in circles and never came out and admitted it. She was so confused when she came to that she never thought about going to the police or ER at that time. Then it was too late. I know it's not the best way to handle it, but it's what she wants. Just get past it and move on. Her sister will deal with him - she works with him. She scared the stalker away when she got ahold of him. I pray your dtr, or any others' on here, never have to deal with this.

This just makes me sick. How much more can you daughter endure?
