More sad news, we had a blue and gold macaw that called us by name, talked like a human, she was only 20 years old and they live to be 80, my husband just found her dead. RIP Cleo

| She was just like my child. My husband took her to his farm because if she stayed with me, she screamed all day if I did not stay by her side. He did not keep her cage clean, etc. He will cry for 20 mins. and it will take me days to get over it.\

| Thanks again. Got to be too smart for my own good and didn't take my pain medication last night, will not do that again. My clea was so interrigent, she was 20 years old, called us by name. Fed her and she would say, "yummm, is it good?", "you want a kiss", what you got, shut up, Kojak,(my maltese) get in here RIGHT NOW, when I covered her up at night she would whisper, "what you doing?", if we slept late she would scream our names as if the house were on fire. Just so many things. Will miss her.

| Beautiful. They are very beautiful. Please, don't get off the pain med schedule for a few days. Even if it does not hurt much, go ahead and take it. It takes too long to catch up if you don't. I did the same thing first night home from the hospital. Never again.

| That is a sweet picture. Does you husband have any idea what might have happened to her? I know they can live a lot longer but 20 years is still a pretty good life. Did you get her as a baby? I am sure you will always cherish her memories. I hope you continue to heal and I pray that you are not in too much pain. |

| awwwww so sorry Donna. I used to have a Macaw... she lived a loooong time.. I had to give her to my sister when I had so much surgery.. She is still alive.. She is 33 yrs old now.. She talks all the time too. Take your pain meds.. even if you don't have pain! I learned alot about that myself. Too long to catch up with the pain. I am keeping you in my prayers an RIP little Cleo.. So sorry Donna. God Bless!

| We don't know what happened to her, maybe a snake bite? She was so healthy. Yes, I got her when she was very young. I am having a blessed day, no pain, went to the Doctor and it is really healing good and I am already getting feeling back in my fingers. My husband felt much better this morning. Hope it will be smooth sailing for a while. Thanks again.
