| Thoughts for my daughter Please keep my dtr, Krysten, in your thoughts. She went to a dentist who butchered her, lied to her and tried to basically rape her financially. She is scheduled for surgery tomorrow am to remove a molar her messed up and an impacted wisdom tooth - it is almost upside down. She is scared and a nervous wreck and has seizures. The 2st dentist left her in so much pain, she hasn't been able to eat or sleep in 4 days. Since she can't find a job, she had to go off all of her meds. She is in SC and I am in PA. She had to borrow the $ from a friend who is going to let us pay it back as we can(thank goodness). So, please just keep her in your thoughts until after her surgery. She will have to stay in bed for 3 - 4 days since she is fair skinned and the Dr. doing the surgery said she will be more prone to hemorrageing. Thank-you. Sandy The 1st dentist has had several complaints lodged against him but we didn't find out until after the fact. One more complaint will be sent to the BBB.

My little Shadow Donating YT Member | Keeping Krysten in my thoughts & prayers!! I hope she does well & has a speedy recovery. Also hope this 1st horrible dentist has his license revoked. He should have to pay for the pain, devastation, and financial burdens bestowed upon her!

| Oh Sandy I'm sooo sorry. Krysten is in our thoughts. Alphy sends kissies. Do you have any legal recourse? Perhaps at least to recover any monies paid. File a complaint with whatever agency monitors his license etc....

| I can't afford an attorney, altho the anguish he caused Krysten should be worth some $$. He yelled at her because her jaw wouldn't go numb - well, duh - he caused the injury to the nerve jabbing the needle and scraping it. He told her it couldn't be pulled, she had to have a root canal - $2000.00. He also told her she had at least 8 cavities that needed to be filled immediatly - another bunch of $$. He told her she had a horrible infection and put her on antibiotics - gave her a prescription for 4 days only and told her she had to be on them for 30 days. Oh, there was no infection and there is only 1 other tiny cavity that isn't even to the point of the new dentist being able to fill it. The 1st one opened the molar and put in a medicated filling that the 2nd dentist said looked like she might have put in herself - it was such a botched up job. This was all done with a small xray - not the panoramic one. #1 wanted her to come back for another visit and charge for that one. I spoke to the receptionist and she was extremely rude to me when I tried to find out what was going on. She didn't even know what was done and was going to overcharge me until I called back again to tell her that the tooth didn't get fixed. The day after the visit, the recpt. called Krysten and wanted to schedule the panoramic xray visit. When K said she wasn't sure when, the recpt hung up on her. The lady that loaned the $ to K for the surgery is going to see what she can do about #1. She knows ALOT of people and can get things done. #2 is her dentist and he was so nice - he didn't charge anything for the 1st visit, gave her darvocet so she could get some rest and eat something and only charged her $15 for the panoramic xray that she got today. #1 wanted $100+ for it. I just hope she gets thru this without a seizure since she hasn't been on any meds for awhile.

| Call a couple of attorneys just to see. Seems like this would be a personal injury type case and where I'm from, most PI attorneys only collect a % of whatever the award is if you win. You may pay for some costs but usually they only collect a fee if they win your case. ????? Might be worth a call or two. Maybe even call the Attorney Generals office.

| Everything went well. She said she doesn't remember him pulling the molar but woke up while he was cutting the bone over the wisdom tooth. She was too numb and goofy(laughing gas) to freak out so she stayed calm. He told her the worst pain will be tomorrow am but it will start getting better from there. She hasn't had any problem with the bleeding so far and has a freebie visit coming next week. Right now she is enjoying the pain killers(oxycordone) and soooo glad she had it done. Thanks, everyone, for the good thoughts and prayers. The lady that loaned her the $ is checking on what can be done as far as the 1st dentist is concerned.

| The side of her face is all swolen(it was supposed to be) and hurts, but she happy she did it and the pain isn't the excruciating pain she had before - just the sore, healing pain. And, she' still loving the pain killers.
